Stallion Manufacturing was developed as a “ground up” technology/chemistry to create an advanced tire casing care and tire sealant product designed to meet new rheological and high performance sealing criteria.

 

It was concluded earlier in the development phase that no modification to existing available tire sealant chemistry would be used. We must develop a ground up formulation that will work on a variety of tire types, all of which are characterized by varying operating conditions and physical parameters. No other tire sealant technology operates between -S8°F to 370°F (-S0°C to l88°C) and self-balances and self seals punctures up to

½” in diameter in both high speed and low speed tires.

 

We knew that it could be enthralling but would require patience, determination and tenacity. One of the lead engineer was Dr. Ken Pinder, who passed away peacefully in 2009. May GOD rest his soul in eternal peace.

ARDL test…Stallion Sahara is the only tire casing product that has been tested and passed by ARDL, one of the most recognized labs in the world for tire/rubber testing. The test was based on OEM test standards and TMC RP.

It clearly shows and proves that the tire with Sahara will run cooler and if compared to tires run in the real world without Sahara the temperature difference witnessed has been as high as 20%. Tire temperatures varies on speed, elevation, ambient temperature and load and therefore every fleet depending  on these factors will vary in the percentage.

The purpose of this work is to determine the effect of Stallion on tire durability (particularly its effect on the inner-liner and plycoat compounds). The effect was measured on roadwheel tested tires with and without Sahara. The tire integrity was measured by shearography before and after roadwheel testing. The tire surface running temperatures and inflation pressures were monitored. Tire component (innerliner and plycoat) mechanical properties were measured in new and tested tire with and without Sahara.

The tire tread and sidewall surface temperatures were measured as a function of roadwheel time. The tire inflation pressures were measured as a function of roadwheel time. Slightly better pressure in the tire with Sahara was observed at 15 days and at the end of the roadwheel testing.

The innerliner from the tire with Sahara had slightly higher tensile strength and elongation to break, and slightly lower modulus than the tire without Sahara. The tire with Sahara had (significantly improved) lower hardness than the tire  without  Sahara. The  improved  property retention is attributed to protection against oxidation  provided  by Sahara

Ambient temperature was measured at each tire, both tires were within ASTM ambient temperature specification. JHNBl-22-2 (without Sahara) starting conditions were lO0PSI /90.ST andJHNBl- 22-l(with Sahara) starting conditions were lO0PSI /95.2°F. Average temperature during the roadwheel test for JHNBl-22-2 (without Sahara) was 99.3°F and the  average  temperature  for JHNBl-22-l(with  Sahara)  was 100.4°F. At the end of the roadwheel test, tire JHNBl-22-2 (without Sahara) had 108PSI at 100.2°F and tire JHNBl-22-l(with Stallion) had ll0PSI at 98.5°F. Slightly better pressure in the tire with Sahara was observed.

The test started with Sahara tire being higher in te mpe rat ure . During the test the tire without Sahara went up to 99.3F. An increase of 8.86% and the tire with Sahara went up by 5.18%. At the end of the test the tire without Sahara was recorded at 100.2F. An increase of 9.68%. At the end of the test the tire with Sahara was recorded at 98.5 F. A decrease in temperature by almost 2%. The tire inflation pressures are shown in Figure 9. The tire with Sahara provided consistently better (higher) inflation  pressure retention during and at the end of the  roadwheel testing. It clearly shows and proves that the tire with Saharan will run cooler and if compared to tires run in the real world without Sahara the temperature difference witnessed has been as high as 20%. The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED)

Sahara qualified with SR&ED as a ground  up technology.

 

 

Sahara is a high-speed and slow speed product designed  for commercial  vehicles  and  industrial  equipment tires. Sahara will self balance tires, protect the tire casing from heat and oxidation damage, seal bead/rim  leaks and self repair road punctures up to 1/2 inch in diameter. Sahara is biodegradable and non-toxic and works well  in all weather conditions. It operates between -58 F to 370 F. Sahara is TPMS safe and stops bead and rim lea ks. Sahara    is   easy   to   wash   out    of   tires   with   water   and    it   has   surpassed    all   retread requirements.

Phantom is a premium tire sealant, which is fully biodegradable, non-toxic and works in all off the road (OTR), Industrial, Mining, Agriculture and Turf tires. Phantom will repair and prevent flat tires, seals minor cracks in inner wall of the tire, and continuously self-seals punctures of up to one half of an inch in diameter. It stops valve leaks and leaks between the bead and rim. This product also washes out of tires easily.

Rim Off is a premium Liquid formula for mining tires. When added to a tire’s air chamber, Rim Off protects tires and eliminates wheel/rim Loss from scale and pitting, while improving air retention through its sealing qualities. Labor costs are greatly reduced as tire dismounting time is decreased. Safety is one of the main contributions to our customers. Used As A Dynamic Balance Media

Trucking companies usually neglect to balance their drive and trailer tire/wheels and those who do balance their tire/wheels have to freq ue ntly. Balancing is costly almost $35 to $45 per tire. Rim Off is also used as a tire/wheel end balancer and acts far superior then traditional metal weig hts , powder balancin g, glass beads or disc balancers.

With the dynamic balance system, you add Rim Off inside the tires air chambe r. The physics statement  for this process is: a free floating mass in a spinning assembly will seek equilibrium. In other words, it self balances. As an overall concept this system  re-balances the  assembly each time you accelerate from a sto p.

Preferences aside, in tests we have conducted, if the other tire wear factors have been handled, balance improves tire life on trucks and buses between 10 and 20% compared to no bala nce. Just remember, balance by itself will not stop all cuppin g. There are other factors at play in the tire that need to be considered as well.
